What a plan on this site is

The plans published here and the plans you draw in the editor are concept plans for inspiration and planning. They show rooms, doors, windows and furniture at their real sizes, but they are not construction drawings. They do not account for structure, foundations, building codes, energy codes, accessibility rules, zoning or the conditions of your site. Before any construction, have your plan reviewed and completed by an architect, a licensed designer, an engineer or your builder, and obtain the permits your jurisdiction requires.

What the cost figures are

Cost ranges are national figures taken from the source quoted next to them, on the date quoted, multiplied where stated by a federal price index for the state. They are estimates for budgeting, not quotes, offers or guarantees of what a builder will charge.

Your plans

The plans you draw are yours. They are stored in your browser, not on our servers, and you may download, print and use them as you wish.

Liability

We work to keep the generator accurate and every figure sourced, and we correct errors when they are reported. We cannot accept liability for a decision taken or a building built on the basis of a plan or a figure from this site. Use the site at your own judgement.

The text, tables, generated plans and software of the site are the property of BGD GROUP, entrepreneur individuel. You may quote a short excerpt with a link to the page. Links to third-party sites are given as sources; we do not control their content.
